(I think party pack also has more of the Regular cat cards in it, while RFD definitely just has the standard deck amount of regular cat cards like taco cat. Where RFD is better for people that do not own any Exploding Kittens decks and/ or expansions, want the most well received expansion cards for a slightly (I do mean slightly) complicated game. RFD and Party Pack would be my suggestion, favoring Party Pack if people have never played the game before because it is more simple to set up and play. It is similar to the party pack, but has newer expansion cards in addition to ones you would find in the party pack, but might have some that you might not even want to use, where the party pack is basically the original game designed for larger game groups and mirrors the original game better in my opinion. A deck of UNO cards, though, only costs about 10. However, this is totally in line with other cult-favorite card games like Cards Against Humanity and Unstable Unicorns. Recipes For Disaster is great as well for 10 players. Considering it’s pretty much a deck of cards, Exploding Kittens is actually a bit on the pricey side at around 20. The Imploding Kitten is different from a regular Exploding Kitten, but is still an enjoyable addition to the game. Then get the imploding Kitten expansion as well. To allow 1 additional player and have a wider variety of cards. It doesn't include every card from previous expansions but does have some.Īlternatively, you could get the streaking kittens expansion, but NOT include the streaking kitten card. The party pack would solve all your problems in one neat package, if my memory serves correctly, it plays 10 people.
